HELLO N°2

Hello cyberworld and everyone out there reading this (god it took me about 15 minutes to find a proper sentence to begin this post and it will probably take me another 15 to find a sentence to follow it with – yep it did).

After both taking a short break from the blogscene, my friend Irene Latoudis and I decided it was time to get back on it. We thought it would be fun to have a website on which we could both write and share stuff, and so the idea of a shared website came up. Although we were both very enthousiastic about starting to blog again, we didn’t want the blog to be yet another fashion blog (aka a blog with the ‘simple’ blogger theme, a bunch of outfit posts made in the backyard and blogposts full of ‘omg I love this fur scarf I would so wear this in Paris combined with an all black outfit). It was clear to us that if we started blogging again, it should be more than just an online fashion diary, instead of just a blog we wanted to create something more like a collective or platform, a creative studio. This is how we came up with the concept and name of ‘Studio Latckers’.

After a few months of severe brainstorming we launched Studio Latckers on the 9th of September. We both had good hopes and were very excited for this new start, but just after launching the website some difficulties came up. With difficulties I’m talking about some personal incidents, but also some very interesting job opportunities that made us decide to postpone the start of Studio Latckers until 2015, more precisely until now.

So, as of today, the 16th of January Irene and I would finally like to welcome you to our new website. Studio Latckers is an online platform for both men and women that talks about fashion, art, nightlife, traveling, and so much more. To keep it as interesting as possible for you guys we have a lot of different projects coming up, so stay tuned and while waiting for the first real post why don’t go check out our Facebook and Instagram.

Cheers!
